Overview

The name “La Mezcla” comes from the mix and diversity of culture and identity in Latin America.

La Mezcla is a new media that connects the Latinx community all over the globe. In a world that is getting more polarised by the day, La Mezcla is a platform that boldly redefines news and current affairs while uniting the Latinx youth.

Approach

The art direction follows the concept of a Latin American marketplace filled with conversations, colors, sharing knowledge, exchanging ideas and goods.

The use of playful colors, bold fonts and fun stickers are inspired by inspired by the colors used in textiles by many indigenous communities across the continent and purposefully breaks the conventional news and media outlets that are out today.
